NAPTOSA members and other interested teachers are invited to attend
NAPTOSA Intersen Phase Conference
on Saturday, 19 May 2018, from 08:00 for 08:30 to 12:15
at the WITS School of Education, 27 St Andrews Road, Parktown, Johannesburg
Join NAPTOSA on 19 May 2018 for the third of our 5 professional conferences offered during 2018. The programme promises to be informative, practical and exciting.
The Conference is open to all Intersen Phase teachers. Over the past few years we have succeeded in absorbing all costs related to presenting professional conferences, primarily due to a sizable sponsorship. We are in the unfortunate position that sponsorship is not as generously available as previous years. The Provincial Executive Committee, regretfully so, had to take the escalating costs and decrease in sponsorship into account, and as from 2018 members will be requested to pay a registration fee of R50 per person. The registration fee for non-members is R150 per person. Proof of payment must please accompany the booking form.
The conference programme is made up of 2 sessions, each consisting of 9 electives. Every person attending the conference must register prior to the conference and indicate on the booking form which electives he/she wishes to attend in both sessions.
Tea and refreshments will be served in the Examination Hall from 10:00 to 10:45. A NAPTOSA information table will be open from 08:00 in front of the Examination Hall, next to the Linder Auditorium, should attendees have any queries.
Please visit the displays of books, teaching aids and see the special offers during tea break in the Examination Hall (next to the Linder Auditorium). NAPTOSA corporate items will be on sale during the tea break.
Certificates of attendance will be e-mailed/mailed to teachers who attend both sessions. All teachers attending will be eligible to claim 5 SACE CPTD points.
Entering the Education Campus is a very slow process as each vehicle’s registration number is written down. In order to avoid long vehicle queues and being late for the first session, attendees are advised to arrive as early as possible.
