Introducing the NAPTOSA/SAFRICAN Family Funeral Plan

NAPTOSA is committed to enhancing services to meet members’ needs.

What’s New in Our Funeral Plan?

Enhanced Coverage:

• We have expanded cover to provide more comprehensive protection for both you and your family.
• Cover has increased to:
  • Principal member : R20 000
  • Spouse (Up to two) : R20 000
  • Child 14-21 yrs : R20 000
  • Child 6-13 yrs : R10 000
  • Child 1-5 yrs  : R10 000
  • Child 0-11 months  : R5 000
  • Stillborn  : R5 000

Coverage extends up to and includes individuals up to the age of 70.

Exclusively available to NAPTOSA members from 1^st September 2023

There are no extra charges; coverage is included in the membership fee.

Student members are ineligible for the benefit since their membership is complimentary.

Retired members are eligible only if they have enrolled as associate members within three months of their retirement.

All existing members are automatically eligible for the benefit with NO waiting period.

How do you sign up?

To ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our new and improved Family Funeral Plan, all members MUST complete a Member Update Form. This form includes sections for listing dependents and beneficiaries. Your prompt attention to this matter will enable us to provide you with the most comprehensive and tailored coverage possible. NAPTOSA cannot guarantee the payout of claims with incomplete or inaccurate data.

Members can visit the NATIONAL NAPTOSA website to download the update form applicable to their status (PERSAL/Non-PERSAL/Associate). Provincial offices will share the forms with all members on their mailing list and are more than willing to assist with any questions that may arise and guide members through the process of updating their information.
